Hello everyone, my name is Jayson. I have a BS in Exercise and Wellness. I've been living a healthy lifestyle and I have worked out consistently for 35 years. I have trained 100's of clients, so I know from experience what works and what does not! My expertise is helping clients lose body fat, gain strength and build muscle. I prioritize proper form and technique. I will teach you many different exercises and I will create a plan to help you achieve your goals based around the exercises you like the most. More importantly the ones you feel the most. I will teach you how to “get in tune” with your body mentally. I will achieve this by teaching you proper breathing techniques and by putting your body in the proper alignment and anatomical position, so you can feel your muscles working through the entire range of motion. I am never going to tell you to do 15 reps of this or 10 reps of that. I am going to tell you to "breathe, focus and concentrate I want you to feel your muscles working through their entire range of motion". These breathing techniques will also help you get you psyched up mentally so you can get the most out of each session. I am an expert in Nutrition and supplementation. I have tried many supplements and I know which ones work and which ones don’t. I don’t like the word diet because that means short term. I will educate you on how to eat properly long term, with foods you enjoy eating. I will teach you how to keep your blood sugar levels stable so your body will be in a more anabolic (muscle building) and fat burning environment. I will explain the best times to have “cheat meals” and how to plan ahead, when you know you are going to cheat. A person wants to eat, what they want to eat, when they want to eat it and not what a piece of paper says they are supposed to eat. I don't want you to, nor expect perfect adherence to your meal plan, it’s just not realistic. So learning how and when to cheat is very important to your success. I am older now and focus more on overall fitness (strength, endurance,body fat and flexibility) but I was the 1999 South Western USA Natural Middle Weight Champion and Overall Winner, The 2000 NPC Western Regional Middle Weight Champion, 2006 and 2009 NPC Mr. Arizona Light Heavy Weight 2nd runner up, so if competing is your goal I can help with that also! Except for a few friends here and there. I have been out of the personal training business as a career for a long time but I have always trained consistently and stayed up to date on current trends. Due to the stock market collapse and other financial issues, I am getting back into fitness as a part time career. So that means a great deal for you because I am not booked all day like I was when I had my company. I am not going to be the cheapest but I am flexible and remember you get what you pay for.
